This was the first Sunbeam that I rebuilt , from a rusty rolling chassis and a tea chest full of bits . By the time these photographs were taken there had been quite a bit of developement .
It is fitted with the Dneiper rear drive and Twin leading shoe front brake , also the large Land Rover coil which is under the seat , the left foot gearchange was not fitted at this time . Also can be seen is the run of the breather from the oil filler cap , internally there was the modified sump strainer plate and the continuous feed to the camshaft and rockers.
